HOLY EMPLOYMENT, BATMAN!
I finally have my first job... and ohmigawd, it's in Disney World! I had applied for the Disney College Program Internship on October 14th, after attending a meeting. I didn't think I would pass the web interview, but I did! And the woman who interviewed me on the phone had to be the most fake person I've ever spoken to! And, seeing as I've never even had a regular interview, I was a nervous wreck! She said I would be contacted in four to six weeks, telling me whether they would offer me a job or not.
I got a letter in the mail the other day. It clearly had not been four to six weeks. And I was almost positive it was a rejection letter. But after reading the first word (Congratulations!) I felt my heart stop and I was on cloud nine!

I'M GONNA BE WORKING AT DISNEY WORLD OMG!

AND AND AND! I just had a meeting with the person who manages this internship at my college, and she said mine was one if the first job offers they sent out! And she thinks I'm ready for this. I'll be getting 30 hours of work AT THE VERY LEAST while I'm there. And I doubt I'll be taking classes, for the sake of hopefully doing a great job at work so I can be invited back!

It's a bit scary... I've never been on my own before! And transitioning from Massachusetts to Florida for five months? It's terrifying! But I'm so excited! I'll have the love of my life's support, as well as my family and friends!
